X2 new string of developments is supplemented with the opening of an office in HCMC.
BHMAsia that operates the successful X2 brand, has continued its expansion in Vietnam. Opening an office in Ho Chi Minh City to cater for the growth of the company, and to give their clients a chance to meet face-to-face.
Simon Jinks will head up the office. With extensive experience in the hotel trade, Jinks also has expertise in managing properties across Asia. He says, “Relationships are everything in doing business, and that’s why we feel that having a presence here in Vietnam is so important to strengthen the trust of our investors and potential new clients. More importantly we want to make sure that our clients can reach out to us whenever they need”.
The opening of the office is a strategic move for BHMAsia. The firm are set to open five properties in Vietnam. All of which are currently under construction or in the development phase. X2 Vibe Hoi An Residences will open this year, followed by X2 Vibe Viet Tri Hotel just an hour from Hanoi in Phu Tho province. Next year will welcome X2 Halong Bay Hill Resort.
X2 are a well known brand in Thailand. Frederic Garnier, vice president of business development has said, “Our project sizes here in Vietnam are much bigger than Thailand, not only for hotels but residences as well. We have a number of new owners, individual rather than institutional investors, and these are repeat investors. They have their first property with us and then they add their second. This is why it’s important to have an office here for their convenience – we can assist them whenever they need”.
