Gamuda Land want to increase their presence after arriving in the country ten years ago.
Malaysian developer Gamuda Land has announced its intentions to spread its wings into Vietnam even further. Part of Gamuda Berhad, on home soil they are one of Malaysia’s leading property developers known for building townships communities. Something that they want to emulate in Vietnam. With an emphasis on sustainability, Gamuda Land sole aim is to build towns that will in turn create communities to meet the needs for all ages of society.
Now the developer has increased its attention on Vietnam. Having already made the country its first overseas venture ten years ago with Gamuda City. Built just outside of Hanoi on a site that spans 500 hectares. Consisting of residential and commercial space, Gamuda City, ‘Showcases the best of living, education, entertainment, medical, hospitality and business experiences, a place where your heart truly belongs’, according to the developer’s marketing collateral.
Wanting to take advantage of the country’s increased urbanisation, Gamuda Land are looking at land in District 9, 12 and Gò Vấp District of Ho Chi Minh City as well as Hanoi. Celadon City is one project still under construction in Ho Chi Minh City.
Gamuda Land want to maintain, and expand on, their presence in the country having being one of the first to introduce the concept of a township. Aiming to be one of the leading developers in the Vietnam, Gamuda Land have stated that development has been made easier thanks market stability. This is in addition to the country’s improved monetary policies. Both of which have sped up the rate of development making Vietnam an even more lucrative investment destination for the Malaysian firm to expand on its existing portfolio.
