Thailand’s Amata Corporation said it is planning to expand its production base in the ASEAN region, adding 2,000 more factories will be constructed over the course of the next five years.
Vikrom Kromadit, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Amata Corporation, said his company will build 2,000 factories throughout ASEAN countries in the next five years.
He said the plan is expected to strengthen the country’s economy and be attractive to Thai investors looking for investment opportunities in the region.
He added the “Amata Nakorn” model will be introduced outside Thailand. The company has already established its presence in two additional countries namely Vietnam and Myanmar.
